Designer Purses – Bag Them

Designer purses have developed over the centuries, from a small and simple bag made out of skin to cart coins, into splendidly designed accessories made from select materials and are considered after all over the world. In America the term purse returns to a small handbag, whereas the British use this term to describe a wallet and a handbag is much larger. Women need a handbag to hold the essential items they may need for a day or maybe a particular function, so why not invest in a designer's purse?

Not every woman is a fashion fanatic but if you are one you will know what a key accessory a handbag is, as it can transform a simple outfit into a chic and style full picture. On average a thirty year old women will buy a new handbag every three months, this may sound extreme, although sometimes you may need the accessory to be suitable for a special occasion or match your outfit. The handbag market has no shortcomings in designers and companies such as Zac Posen, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Alexis Hudson, Valentino offer fine designs and quality.

When selecting handbags you need to consider what you will be using them for. Women with children will clearly need some additional space, whereas the women who want to go to a party or special function will look for something which matches their outfit and is not too large. Different types of handbags include; clutch, tote, satchels, shoulder bags etc and with different designs the choice is fundamental. The design is very vital and will clearly fit the individuals fashion sense, but the material the bag is made of will also play a role. Leather is pricey but will last you longer and will show to be a unbelievable investment if you take good care of it.

It is spot on what Yves Saint Laurent said, "Fashions fade, style is eternal". Choose something that fits your style and if it's not trendy at the moment you will be accredited for your bold individual taste, remember even with trends, history repeats itself. Womens designer purses are never boring and enjoy them wherever

Gucci Sunglasses Review

When shopping for sunglasses, the number of options is seemingly unending. And that includes the manufacturer that you choose. But if you select a pair of Gucci sunglasses, you'll be choosing one of the top brands in the market.

It all began over a century ago, in 1906. That's when Guccio Gucci founded the "House of Gucci," which was a saddle shop located in Florence, Italy. Gucci's specialty was leather goods. The shop first produced leather bags for horsemen, and later made luxury luggage.

Since then, Gucci has significantly expanded its line of products, which now includes a full line of high-end sunglasses. The company's sunglasses have become one of the industry's benchmarks in terms of quality and style. Here are some tips for choosing the right sunglasses for your needs:

1. Set a budget.

Even though Gucci sunglasses are high-end, you can avoid spending your life savings on a pair. The key is to find the model that you fancy, and then find the right price. Compare prices from at least three stores, and compare more if you have the time and effort. Search online and offline, and leave no stone unturned.

2. Choose a pair that filters out some blue light.

Blue light can cause damage to your retina and can extremely resulting in macular degeneration. If a blue sky appears gray, then a pair of Gucci sunglasses is successfully filtering out blue light.

3. Check for UV protection.

Look for sunglasses with both UVA and UVB protection. These types of ultraviolet rays have different wavelengths, though both can potentially harm your eyes. Also, verify that the sunglasses provide 99% or 100% protection. And remember that darker glasses do not necessarily provide more UV protection.

4. Choose a frame shape that matches your face's shape and head size.

Verify that the shape of the sunglasses frames complements the shape of your face. You should also consider the size of your head. If you have a round face, then you should choose long and thin frames. And if you have a square face, then you should choose styles that are soft and rounded in shape.

Also, match up a pair of frames, with your head. Small sunglasses complement small heads, while large sunglasses complement large heads.

5. Check for polarization.

This feature is particularly useful if you work and play outdoors. The polarization feature will help to reduce how much glare reaches your eyes, which will improve the effectiveness of the shades.

6. Choose the right lens color.

One of the best options is gray, since it does not affect your color perception. Consider which lens hue provides you with sufficient comfort, and suits your personal preference. If you suffer from macular degeneration, then one of your best options is orange-brown.

7. Choose rugged sunglasses if you play sports.

You'll need frames that are lightweight yet shatterproof, and plastic. This will protect both you and your eyes while playing your particular sport.

For over a century, the Gucci name has been producing quality products. These tips will help you to choose the right pair of Gucci sunglasses.

Wedding Shoes to Kill Your Blues

Oxford street seemed to get longer and hotter every time Jesse exited another shop. This time, outside John Lewis she leant against the doorway and gazed into the distance. Surely she was not running out of shops? She sighed and prepared herself to start the hunt again. Dizziness stopped her in her tracks and she realized that she must rest for a while. Why had she left this late in the day? Why had she stubbornly refused her mother's offers of help to organize the wedding when she would have given her more time to put together her own outfit and would probably have healed the gulf in their relationship?

Jesse walked straight back into the store she had just left because at least there she knew where the coffee shop was. She also knew she had only a matter of hours before the shops closed and her hunt for wedding shoes would be over. Tomorrow she would walk into the office office in shoes that are too clumpy for that lovely lace blouse that grandma had given her years ago. She had only to replace a missing button to have the sweetest top and then she had actually made the silk skirt herself but the wedding shoes were driving her mad; none of them seemed right.

She was almost weeping with frustration when a gentle voice said 'may I sit here? I just can not shop for as long as I used to. Thank goodness this lovely restaurant is still here. ' She paused and then continued. 'But hark at me babbling on. My names Mrs Whooton, or Mary, 'she added with a smile. Jesse looked up without enthusiasm, she had no time to chat but as she was too tired to move anyway she told her her name. Mary reached for Jesse's hand and squeezed it gently. 'It sometimes helps to share a trouble.' Jesse looked amazed. 'Oh, it's written all over your face my dear. Tell an old lady and you might be surprised by what she knows. '

Jesse looked at the woman's softly round, powdered face, gray hair escaping in small whisps from a shapeless brown hat; then she saw the large clock hands just touching the four and a moment's panic made her sob out loud. 'Come on my dear,' Mary said encouragingly. 'Tell me what's troubling you.' Jesse was surprised by how quickly the story spilled out of her mouth, even including her problems with speaking to her mother and of course finishing with the story of the wedding shoes.

'Your granny's blouse was Victorian then?' She asked curiously. Jesse nodded. 'Then I do not suppose you know of a small boutique in Jordan street do you? It's sort of overshadowed by the new shops but it specializes in Victorian costumes. There might be something there that would suit. ' Jesse's eyes widened with hope. 'Where's Jordan Street?' She gathered herself together and thanked Mary. 'Oh I just hope they can help you, she said, then added' Your mother, Jesse, you know she only wants to make sure you're alright. ' Jesse nodded suddenly finding a lump in her throat at the mention of her mother. 'Call her my dear. You will not regret it. '

Jesse almost ran to the shop in Jordan Street where she found a treasure trove of Victorian garments. Most importantly she found the perfect wedding shoes to match her silk skirt and lace blouse. As she straightened up to smile at the old man serving her, she glimpsed in a mirror the smiling round face of Mrs Whooton, just taking the hat pin out of her shapeless brown hat.

Quick and Easy Window Treatments

Window treatments are fabulous.

Why? For one, well-dressed windows add wow to any room in the house. And they’re functional too-they can be used to block light, create privacy, soften sounds, draw attention to great views (or conceal less pleasing ones), and more. And they look darn good doing it.

To help you figure out which window treatment styles are right for your home and tastes, here’s a rundown on the basic types. Don’t want to spend a fortune? I’ll throw in some easy DIY ideas for dressing up your existing curtains and shades too.

Curtains typically hang on rods from rings, tabs, or ties and are pulled open or closed by hand. This type of window treatment is made in a variety of styles and fabrics to fit windows large and small, in settings formal or informal.

Drapery panels tend to look more formal than curtains. Drapes are attached to a rod with hooks that allow for opening and closing simply by pulling a cord. They usually hang from the top of a window or even the ceiling to the floor.

Blinds help control light and privacy and may be used with other window treatments or alone. All sorts of materials-including vinyl, wood, and faux wood-are available to match the style of your spaces.

Shades are used to block out light and provide privacy too. Styles include simple roller shades; top-down shades; Roman shades with sleek, defined folds; and balloon shades that billow when they are pulled up.

Cornices are affixed to the wall at the top of the window. Typically made of plywood and dressed up with paint, fabric, wallpaper, molding, or other embellishments, cornices are used to add architectural detail to windows.

Valances, much like cornices, are hung across the top of windows, cover curtain rods and add structural interest. Fabric valances may be tailored to create a distinctive shape or draped loosely across the top of the window.

The tricky part about window treatments is deciding which ones to use and in what combination. A few questions to ask yourself:

What is the style of my windows and the room they’re in?

Formal, floral-print window treatments may look absolutely ridiculous in a contemporary home, while inexpensive blinds probably won’t do justice to a bank of windows in a formal setting. I prefer simpler shades and curtains over gaudy layers of fabric in my own home, but there’s something to be said for a well-designed, formal living or dining room with exquisite folds of fabric framing a window.

What is the function of the room?

This may guide the materials you select for your window treatments. For instance, it’s smart to pick fabrics that stand up to moisture for bathroom windows and ones that are easy to clean for windows near heavy-use areas of the kitchen.

What size are my windows?

Trick your eyes into thinking your small windows are larger by positioning the curtain rod above the top of the window. Are your windows too narrow? Extend the rod beyond the sides of the window frame. Or if you’re lucky enough to have large windows, but they’re out of scale with the size of your rooms and the furnishings in them, opt for simple treatments with minimal layers and patterned fabrics to downplay the expanse.

What functions should my window treatments fulfill?

If you love natural light as much as I do, you might want sheer fabric panels and nothing more. But consider issues such as: privacy (so the neighbors can’t see you making coffee right after you stumble out of bed in the morning), light control (if you want it as dark as possible when you sleep, window treatments with blackout lining may be the way to go), and temperature regulation (in drafty rooms, honeycomb shades are a good choice for providing a level of insulation).

Oh, and don’t forget to consider how your windows look from outside too!

Formal window treatments with their many layers and multiple fabrics and patterns require more sewing and decorating know-how than this Know-It-All is willing to jump into at the moment. But informal window treatments are a breeze to make over yourself. The key is to keep it simple, functional, and fun.

Add oomph to store-bought curtains (or panels you’ve sewn yourself) with ribbons, buttons, bows, beads, tassels, cording, or whatever other embellishments suit your style.

Paint wooden blinds a vibrant color.

Sew your own café curtains-they’re easy to make with funky fabrics or leftovers from other projects.

Create a custom roller shade by purchasing a DIY roller shade kit from a craft or fabric store. Or purchase plain roller shades and decorate them with acrylic paint-try stamped shapes, freehand flowers, polka dots, or stripes. Still feeling crafty? Hot-glue ribbon …

Polarized Sunglasses – Who Invented Them?

Polarized sunglasses, like many great inventions, are used by many of us without a second thought. But did you ever stop to think about where polarized sunglasses come from? Somebody had to come up with them.

Actually, we owe the creation of polarized sunglasses to four men. In the 1750s, James Ayscough experimented with using tinted glass to correct vision problems.

Many scientists of the time were studying the properties of light and color. In 1808, Etienne-Louis Malus, a French physicist and mathematician, he discovered that light waves from the sun, which usually vibrate in all directions, can be aligned into one direction when it is reflected off something, like water. According to Malus’ law, the intensity of light transmitted through a polarizing filter depends on the angle of the filter in relation to the light.

While Malus’ law is important in the study of optics, it remained for Scottish physicist, astronomer and inventor Sir David Brewster to discover the angle at which light with a particular polarization can be transmitted through a surface with no reflection. This he did in the year 1815. The angle, called Brewster’s angle or the polarization angle), is critical in the invention of polarized sunglasses.

Throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, experiments continued. People began using yellow- or brown-tinted sunglasses to counteract light sensitivity. People realized that color had something to do with polarization. The optical company Bausch & Lomb began producing a dark green glass to protect U.S. Army Air Corps pilots from glare at high altitudes.

However, it wasn’t until 1936 that Edwin H. Land, an American inventor, created polarizing light filter that was light and inexpensive enough to use on sunglasses. He later created the Polaroid Corporation and developed many inventions, including the Land camera, which allowed amateur photographers to watch their pictures develop instantly.

Land’s invention was quickly put to use in sunglasses produced by Ray-Ban, a unit of Bausch & Lomb. Ray-Ban also created the distinctive “aviator” frame that protected a pilot’s eyes as he repeatedly glanced down at his instrument panel. Army pilots received these glasses for free and as their popularity grew, Ray Ban soon began to sell them to the public. The polarized sunglasses helped pilots to see and complete their missions safely. Their ultra-cool and effective sunglasses added to the pilots’ mystique and soon everyone wanted them in order to imitate their heroes.

Polarized sunglasses are one fashion trend that continues to serve a useful purpose.

How to Find the Safest, Cleanest Body Jewelry Online

Globalisation has had a huge impact on the availability of wholesale products in the international marketplace. Once upon a time, only basic wholesale jewelry was available – and items such as wholesale ear tapers, wholesale ear tunnels, wholesale eyebrow rings, wholesale flesh tunnels, and wholesale gauge earrings were difficult to find.

These days the world is globalised and huge changes are taking place even now in the marketplace, turning the commercial landscape into a smorgasbord of opportunities – even wholesale ear tapers can be found for great prices due to low-cost production and much better infrastructure and logistics. Where you choose to buy your wholesale ear tunnels or wholesale eyebrow rings is no easy task, though, because there will be a great deal of permutations and variables for you to think on.

Buying jewelry meant for more extreme body modification techniques, such as wholesale flesh tunnels, wholesale gauge earrings or wholesale ear tunnels means extra care must be taken. These types of jewelry can all cause significant trauma to the skin if proper care is not taken when selecting jewelry. Badly made wholesale gauge earrings could have imperfections causing the pierced person real troubles, potentially running the risk of infection, a perforated piercing hole or worse. This can be bad in many ways, giving you and your products a bad name aside from the issues that the customer will have to go through. They say no publicity is bad publicity – but bad publicity can be a real serious issue and have a big effect on your ability to do business in the piercing community in the future, if at all again.

That’s why it’s best to buy your wholesale ear tunnels and wholesale gauge earrings from a supplier you can really put your faith in and trust completely. There is no reason to risk your customers’ health and the future of your business on cutting corners with un-researched purchases of wholesale ear tapers from a poor quality wholesale eyebrow rings supplier. It just doesn’t make sense in the long and short run- think about the future of your business and your reputation as a whole.

What better way to make sure that piercings are done cleanly and healthily with no risk to your customers than to buy everything pre-sterilized – from wholesale ear tunnels to wholesale ear tapers. The jewelry must be totally clean and in pristine condition, completely sterilized and free of any harmful bacteria or germs that could cause the piercing problems and infection – nobody wants this! It can be a good way to measure whether or not a supplier you are considering for wholesale eyebrow rings is worth looking at and will serve you well in the long run – this is because it takes a great deal of care and even an investment on great equipment on the part of your wholesale eyebrow rings supplier – showing their dedication to a great product. Unfortunately not all suppliers do this, so you or customers have the responsibility of arranging piercing sterilization for all the jewelry.

Jewelry Making – The Art of Lost Wax Casting

The art of lost wax casting, a technique that yields intricately detailed metal, dates back thousands of years with its true origin lost in ancient history. Lost wax casting is used to mold various types of metal into intricate pieces of jewelry and artistic sculptures, although it is also commonly used for industrial components and dental procedures.

The process of lost wax casting starts with a sculptor crafting a representation of the desired piece out of wax, creating a pattern with the same intricate detail that will appear on the metal piece of jewelry in its final form. Wax "sprues" are included in the creation of the pattern, which are wax rods or wires that delineate the strategic placement of channels that will remain open when the final mold is made. Sprues are not a design element of the final piece, but rather allow for spaces to remain open in the mold through which the molten metal that will determine the final piece will be injected. The channels imprinted by these sprues will also allow for the wax to exit the mold.

Once the wax model and its attached sprues are in the desired form, the wax pattern is covered with a biable ceramic substance through pouring, dipping, or both. Care must be taken during this process to ensure that air bubbles are not present, as any imperfections in the mold will be visible on the final piece. Once the mold surrounding the wax pattern reaches the desired thickness, it is allowed time to harden and then heated in a kiln. As temperatures rise, the wax within is melted and eradicated through the channels left by the sprues, hence the name "lost wax." The result of this stage is a strong mold with a hollow opening in the shape of the original wax design.

Molten metal can then be inserted into the final mold through the channels, and is usually injected rather than scattered in jewelry crafting so that the metal fills each intricately placed impression in the mold. When the metal hardens, the mold is removed to reveal the piece. In the final stages, protrusions such as those created by the opened channels or other vents must be removed and the metal polished to its final, lustrous state.

Variations in the lost wax casting process exist, such as the use of rubber molds rather than ceramic, but the fundamental lost wax principles remain widely used due to the intricate details that can be produced in the end. Although definitions have been made to the lost wax casting process through history, the effectiveness of its underlining process has withstood the test of time.

Men's Necklaces Make Their Mark

Ever seen a French comedy where the husband gives his beloved wife a piece of jewelery. She opens the black box in excitation. Her face drops when she looks inside: her husband has lovingly given her a black leather choker with silver studs reminiscent of a dog collar. The tragic-comic irony of the story is that when it comes to necklaces, or mens' necklaces to be more precise, anything goes. If it's a choice between neckties and necklaces, men's necklaces reveal in fashion glory. Take a look around you notice how men wearing men's necklaces have evolved.

Beaded necklaces for the spiritually loving kind of man, chokers for the body builder at the gym perhaps? Chunky gold necklaces for the younger bolder man, blinging it to the nines. And then there's the more understated silver necklace with pendant for the slightly mature, sophisticated man who wants to exude charm and confidence. Whatever shape or form the men's necklace comes in, the male race is out wearing them with pride.

The boom in necklaces has seen fine jewelers tripping over themselves to satisfy the growth of mens' interest in jewelery. Fine jewelers like Tiffanys have expanded its usual watch and cufflink collections to include a broad range of sporty men's jewelery including mens' necklaces, pendants, rings and bracelets. Tiffanys have also designed a number of simple, masculine jewelery styles in titanium steel and silver.

In a recent US poll, 75 percent of men said they enjoyed wearing jewelery and 80 percent of women say they find men who wear jewelery sexy. Today's generation of men are fashion conscious, they care about street cred and will pay attention to fine detail. There seems to be more of an understanding that wearing a piece of jewelry, like a mens' necklace is essential to completing a look.

With the World Cup in full swing, fine jewelers and big fashion homes have spotted the potential for branding with soccer players. Suddenly footballers are the new, rising media stars with a high international profile. What better way to advertise mens' necklaces, jewelery or clothes than a footballer with rippling muscles in motion, sporting an earring that is bound to play on the mass public conscience? Zinedine Zidane of the French team is the face of Dior's Eau Savage, and Lukas Podolski of Germany sells Ax body spray. Brazil's Ronaldinho, the world's most talented footballer, wears his hair pulled back to reveal a pair of gaudy earrings with his number cast in diamonds. Japan's answer to Beckham, sometimes referred to as Asian Becks has also been known to wear the occasional piece of mens' jewelery.

It is evident that the fashion conscious persona has swept across Europe. Hairstyled players with sunglasses and mens' jewelery may seem contrived to some but for the most part these players pull off the fashion look because they are talented players. At least for the moment, fine jewelers of mens' necklaces, pendants, rings and earrings are living the advertising dream.

Sperm Taste – 10 Simple Tips For Better Tasting Semen

Sperm taste is affected by what you eat, as are all secretions from the body.

It is a fact that your sperms taste can be improved and making your semen taste better, can be done with a few simple diet changes.

Diet has A major influence on sperm taste as it’s a secretion from the body like any other.

Just as your sweat can smell strongly after eating a heavily spiced meal your sperm will also reflect the spices in its taste.

The make up of sperm

Semen is made up of ninety percent (90%) seminal fluids including fructose (sugar) protein, and various trace minerals and nutrients.

The PH of semen is 7 and scientifically neutral, yet it tastes slightly acidic. Let’s take a look at the actual ingredients of semen.

A man’s ejaculate is actually only 1% sperm.

The rest is composed of various proteins, vitamins, sugars, salts, cholesterol, and water. All the extras are what protect, feeds, fuels the sperm in its journey.

As you can see in terms of semen’s composition, it’s fairly obvious that what you eat will make it taste better or worse!

Getting a sweeter taste

With sperm taste, the aim is to make it taste sweeter.

All men have a semen taste that is exclusive to them, but the major complaint on sperm taste is normally always the same:

It tastes bitter or salty; let’s look at how to make semen taste sweeter

10 Tips for better semen taste

Here then are 10 simple do’s and don’ts to improve the taste of your sperm and make your semen taste better and sweeter:

1. Cut out alcohol, caffeine, recreational drugs and nicotine- they’re all pollutants.

2. Drink lots of water 1 – 2 liters a day to flush out body toxins.

3. Fruit get plenty each day and sweeten your sperm taste

Pineapple, papaya cranberry, melons, mangos, apples grapes are all good choices. These fruits are high in natural sugars and offset the bitter taste.

4. Eat plenty of vegetables which are generally good for improving sperm taste.

5. While it is true vegetarians generally have better tasting sperm there are vegetables to avoid:

Any vegetables from the cabbage family big offenders also include Cauliflower, broccoli, or asparagus:

5. Cut red meat consumption this is one pf the main offenders when it comes to making sperm taste salty. Dairy produce such as milk and cheese also make sperm taste salty.

Make sure when you eat protein you get good quality lean protein such as chicken and turkey.

Fish is claimed by some to be an offender in terms of taste, but this seems to vary between individuals. Try it and see the affects before cutting it out, fish is a major part of a healthy diet, so don’t cut it out!

6. Avoid heavy spices such as Garlic and onions, they’re big offenders when it comes to sperm taste, as they have a high sulfur content.

7. Do not buy products that claim to make your semen taste better there is no evidence that they work.

Your semen can be made to taste better by overall changes in diet and lifestyle, it’s a complex formula and a good healthy diet has the biggest affect.

8. Parsley, wheatgrass, and celery are particularly recommended for sweeter semen taste, because of their high chlorophyll content.

9. Cinnamon, cardamom, peppermint and lemon are particularly recommended for making semen taste sweeter.

10. Avoid junk food, they’re loaded with chemicals and preservatives that pollute your body and your semen’s taste.

Try and eat food “from the earth” i.e. as naturally as possible. Also consider taking a zinc and selenium supplement, both are needed for healthy sperm and can make the taste better.

Finally, strong smelling semen may indicate an infection, so if your semen taste doesn’t change when you change your diet, you should consider a visit to the doctor.

Your aim with your diet is to eat one that helps your overall health and the above recommendations will not only make your semen taste better you will also feel fitter and healthier as well.

Keep in mind that you can eat some of the foods we don’t recommend for sperm taste.

You can enjoy red meat and the occasional spiced curry just keep in mind the following when considering sperm taste:

What you put into your body takes between 12 and 24 hours to secrete out and you should simply keep this in mind before eating and deciding whether you want a better sperm taste on that particular day or not!

60 Female House Songs For Cabaret and Musicals Singers

Are you looking for a female song from a Musical that will help you connect directly to an audience? What you need is a “House number”!

A House song bridges the gap between the audience and the singer, when the character comes out of the story on stage and speaks directly to the viewers, know that he (and the drama) is being watched.

In Musical theater there are not many real House songs, but there are a number of songs you can alter to make your performance cross that invisible fourth wall between you and the audience.

In this article I suggest 60 songs for women from the Musical Theater repertoire that could be sung as a House song. I have placed them in three categories: the true House song, the audience number and the soliloquy.

In the first category, the true House song, the musical is written deliberately for the character to step out of the drama and speak to the viewers. My first thoughts are Spamalot (the Diva’s Lament), and City of Angels (You Can Always Count On Me). When You’re Good To Mama from Chicago springs to mind immediately. Other true House songs include Big Spender from Sweet Charity (originally a chorus number but can be sung by one person), I’m Still Here from Follies, Broadway Baby from Follies, I Just Wanna Dance from Jerry Springer, Jonny One Note from Babes in Arms, and Nobody Does It Like Me – the Cy Coleman song from the musical SeeSaw. And Miss Byrd from Closer Than Ever shares her secret across the fourth wall.

Many of the songs from the Victorian Music Hall era work as house numbers including Waiting At the Church, If It Wasn’t For the ‘Ouses In Between, and even ballads such as The Boy I Love Is Up In The Gallery. Then there are the songs written in a Musical style such as Girl in 14G, and The Alto’s Lament.

In the second category, the character sings to an audience in her world as part of the plot. Good and Evil from Jekyll and Hyde is a great example as Lucy sings to the drinkers in the pub where she works. Then there’s Don’t Cry For Me Argentina (Evita), I Speak Six Languages from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Beat Out Dat Rhythm from Carmen Jones, Man Wanted from Copacabana, and Blow Gabriel Blow from Anything Goes. The Saga Of Jenny from Lady in the Dark is sung in a courtroom, and you might just get away with Life of the Party from Wild Party.

The unifocus song is the third type of House number – it’s usually a soliloquy in which the character is asking questions. One of the most well-known songs is I Cain’t Say No from Oklahoma. Then there’s I’m Shy from Once Upon A Mattress, Everybody Says Don’t, and There Won’t Be Trumpets, from Anyone Can Whistle, and I’m A Stranger Here Myself from One Touch of Venus. Check out Holding To The Ground from Falsettos, My Brother Lived In San Francisco from Elegies for Angels Punks and Raging Queens, I Hate Men from Kiss Me Kate, and My Strongest Suit from Aida. In a slightly more old-fashioned vein, there’s I Think I May Want To Remember Today from Starting Here, Starting Now, Tale of the Oyster (Fifty Million Frenchmen), and The Physician (Nymph Errant).

You can use a strong story song like Waiting For The Music To Begin (Witches of Eastwick) if you use it to tell the audience your story. Another perfect example comes from A Chorus Line, where Diana Morales sings Nothing to Zach who is seated in the (real) audience throughout the show. So it’s simple to make it a House song and speak directly to your audience. Other songs include Gimme Gimme from Thoroughly Modern Millie, I Know Things Now from Into the Woods, Defying Gravity from Wicked, and Always The Bridesmaid from I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

Back to Sondheim again for The Ladies Who Lunch from Company, The Story of Lucy and Jessie (from certain productions of Follies), and Can That Boy Foxtrot (a duet that can be sung as a solo) from Marry Me A Little, or cut from Follies, depending on who you read.

Then there’s Everybody’s Girl from Steel Pier, Old Fashioned Love Story from Wild Party, When You Got It, Flaunt It from The Producers, and How Did I End Up Here from Romance Romance. You might consider One Hundred Easy Ways from Wonderful Town, or My New Philosophy from You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, and experiment with a song like Cockeyed Optimist from South Pacific.

Another great source of House songs is the revue musical. Closer Than Ever by Maltby and Shire is a …

The Long Sleeve Woven Shirts features the long, belted Whaley Range design in either white or black, the Virginia in Red design which features a bucolic red and white plaid design, and the Lady Barn design which has a unique floral pattern consisting of small red flowers, an embroidered design, and comes in either red or grey. The two different types of shorts to choose from are the Tameside Cargo Short and the Peterloo Cargo Short. The Tameside features a single color in black, brown, or cream. They are based off of the traditional cargo short style that has large pockets on each side. The Peterloo Cargo Short features stripes and comes in either grey plaid or olive. English Laundry also has two different kinds of jeans: the Crest Jeans which comes in black wash and vintage wash and features an English crest on the pant leg, and the Red Selvege Jeans which offer a tight, straight leg and come in either dark wash or rinse wash. English Laundry also features two different designs of slacks: North Slacker and Hathersage slack.

Besides the tops, bottoms, and dress shirts which English Laundry offers, there are accessories such as wallets, ties, scarves, and belts as well. Each sports images that are uniquely English, such as: the Union Jack British Flag, the lion from the English crest, and the royal crown. English Laundry brings true sophistication back to fashion.

Characteristics of Bad Public Speakers

Congratulations! You’ve set your sights on a lofty goal, being one of the worst public speakers imaginable. It will take a while and require a lot of practice, but if you do your best at being the worst, soon nobody will want to hear you speak in public. Follow these simple rules, and you’ll soon develop a reputation as one of the worst public speakers around!

1) Mumble and Speak Softly: Good public speakers want their messages to be clear and precise, easy for listeners to follow, so in order to be the worst you need to be as incomprehensible as possible. Mumble when you talk and speak softly, so that none of your listeners can hear what you say or understand your words. If even the front row of your listeners has to lean in to hear you, you’re doing a great job.

2) Avoid Eye Contact: The last thing you want to do is look at the audience; they might mistakenly understand something you’ve said, or at least think that you genuinely want to connect with them. Instead, look almost every place else; the ceiling, your shoes, the walls, or behind you, away from the audience (perfect if you have a chalkboard or white board to stare at the whole time). As long as you are looking somewhere other than towards the audience, they’ll get the clue that you’re really not interested in them.

3) Move Constantly While Speaking: Whether it’s a simple nervous twitch or full blown pacing up and down the stage or other public speaking area, you want to make sure that you never stop moving. Not simply walking calmly or making a few hand gestures either; you want to be moving frantically and unpredictably, one minute circling the stage, the next minute waving your arms around randomly. At no point do you want your movements to have anything to do with what you are talking about; the less sense your actions make, the better.

4) Don’t Practice Beforehand: The very first time you say your speech should be when you are on stage, looking at an eager audience who expect you to talk like a professional. Even if you are an expert on the speech material (and why would you give a speech on something you know when you’re trying to give a bad speech?), if you don’t practice what you want to say, you’ll be sure to struggle with the speech, making long pauses as you try to find the words you’re seeking, and fill the speech with ums and ahs.

5) Don’t Write Down Your Speech: While we’re on the subject, you definitely don’t want to write down your speech or any notes about what you want to say. If you have notes, you might stay on track with your speech, covering the material you wanted to cover, and generally staying on track. If you do keep papers on you during your speech (perfect for if you need something to look at rather than your audience), make them random and unorganized, flip through them at regular intervals, and read the most boring and irrelevant parts throughout your speech.

There you go; if you want to be a horrible, atrocious, and downright bad public speaker, all you need to do is to follow these simple rules, and you’ll be widely known as the worst speaker by anyone in your audience. Keep it up for a few speeches, and nobody will ever ask you to speak again! (Or, you could do the exact opposite of what this article says, and you’ll end up giving a fairly solid, well liked speech. Why you would want to do that, I don’t know, but the possibility is there if you want.)

Agoraphobia Is Not the Opposite of Claustrophobia

Agoraphobia isn’t the opposite of claustrophobia – but a lot of people think it is. In fact I used to think exactly that. I used to think exactly that even when I was suffering from agoraphobia. I was even offered the opportunity to join an agoraphobics group, but I said no because I wasn’t afraid of open spaces. I quite liked open spaces as long as no one else was anywhere near me. In fact if there was no other human being in sight, then that was OK as far as I was concerned. But that was all a very long time ago.

The translation of agoraphobia is ‘fear of the market place’, not, as many people think, fear of open spaces. The essence of the market place is people and human interaction. This is what is fearful. Places that agoraphobes typically avoid, or have problems with, are supermarkets, theatres, cinemas, crowds, parties. Places where a rapid exit might be difficult.

The fear is usually of showing oneself up in some way in the eyes of others. Typically agoraphobes worry about things like: vomiting (usually as a result of severe anxiety); fainting; having a panic attack; or suffering from a genuine health emergency like a heart attack. The concern is usually one of embarrassment – perhaps fainting and finding oneself on a supermarket floor gazing up into a circle of concerned faces who will insist on making a fuss and calling an ambulance.

Many agoraphobes manage to get by with a trusted helper who accompanies them when they need to go shopping or out socialising. This person is there to rescue them and take them home should anything bad, like a panic attack occur. But when that helper is not available life is very restricted.

If medical help is obtained the most likely result is medication with tranquillisers and anti-depressants. Neither of which actually solve the problem, they just enable a minimum level of functionality. The problem remains, like a monster in the wardrobe, waiting to show its scary face as soon as you turn off the lights,  or look the other way. So you are trapped. The medication keeps the monster locked in the wardrobe, but doesn’t get rid of it. Stop the medication and the monster is free once more.

Life as an agoraphobe is no fun at all.

So if you are agoraphobic and reading this I want to reassure you about a few things:

  • This is not a disease, but you can ‘heal’ it.
  • There is nothing physically wrong with you.
  • Your brain is as normal as anyone else’s.
  • The cause is the way you think.
  • The cure is changing the way you think.

Changing the way you think is not easy, but it is a lot easier than living the isolated, fearful, life of an agoraphobe.

When you think about the totality of the change you need to make, it seems an insurmountable task.

When you think about the single next step you need to take – it becomes not only possible, but relatively easy.

The first steps are the most difficult. Every step after those first few become easier. They become easier because you have the memory of success and knowledge that what you are doing is already making a positive difference to your life.

The Fendi Handbag

The Fendi label is a name associated with luxury and high fashion. Fendi handbags are now something that celebrities are frequently seen with. Fendi was founded in 1918, making the Fendi name almost a hundred years old! Adele Casagrande was the founder of the Fendi label. She originally set up a store in Rome, Italy to sell fur and leather in a boutique-type shop. Later on, Casagrande was married to a designer and business man, who was called Eduardo Fendi. The Fendi label became very popular after the boutique name was changed to Fendi.

In 1932, the Fendi company opened another store in the Via Piave region of Rome. This store took off, and became very popular among the citizens who had a taste for luxury items. The designer accessories for sale at the boutique became a big hit, including their Fendi handbags. After a while, the Fendi family, including the children, all became involved in the family business.

Fendi really took off around the second half of the Twentieth Century. During this time, Bloomingdales, an extremely popular and high-end department store started to carry Fendi handbags. This made the Fendi name internationally famous. Soon, the Fendi name began to spread all over Europe and the United States. A line that used less-expensive furs and designer accessories was created by Fendi in 1969, which was also a big hit.

Fendi handbags are now one of the most sought-after items in luxury designer wear. Due to the advancement of modern technology, people no longer need to even leave their homes to experience great luxury! You can easily buy a Fendi handbag online, but not all places are created equal. The best way to find deals for these amazing items, is through luxury handbag auction sites. While there is some concern of authenticity, it is very easy to tell apart fake handbags from genuine ones. Furthermore, the handbags almost always sell below retail value if you buy them through luxury handbag auction sites.

Does Sex Really Begin in the Kitchen?

How does this idea of "sex begins in the kitchen" work? We know it does not mean getting creative with the utensils and appliances, but what does a woman mean when she says romance begins elsewhere than the bedroom?

These may be difficult things for men to really understand, but that should not stop us trying. A husband with potential is the desire of just about every woman's heart.
Ideally, on the other hand, the wife who is the desire of a man's heart does not require him to change, but supports him as he tries.

So the picture we are developing is of a husband who is committed to learning and becoming better, with a wife who is committed to extending grace, never requiring changing. Those two things in tension give the marriage a substance of mutual submission.

The husband submits himself to God, and to his wife, in learning to serve her. The wife submits herself to God, and to her husband, by allowing him to grow without forcing matters.

Both are required to submit. Marriage is about mutual submission.

But let's get back onto the subject of sex – and its significance emerging from the kitchen.

Love can begin in the kitchen or in the laundry or out in the yard, simply through the act of service; the husband plies his skill and uses his humble strength to work diligently.

It may be an old-fashioned value, but women love working men; not necessarily blue-collar men, but the willingness of a man to lead his family in cheerfully doing the tasks of the home.

Tasks like ironing, washing up, cooking, vacuuming, etc, may once have been the domain of the woman. But now no more. The issue is more about the willingness of the husband to pitch in. His heart is to help.

A woman knows she's loved when her husband seeks to please her because he loves her. This is an act of faith for the husband, because when he does nice things for his wife she is romanced. He must be genuine, committed, sincere.

The husband never does these nice things for his wife for his personal gain. He must do them sacrificially. Wives can smell a fraud from a mile off.

Wives desire a sincere, thinking husband, who is willing to sacrifice himself in doing tasks around the home, and being actively involved in his family. When a husband acts with such integrity his sexual relationship with his wife will usually have more mutual joy and satisfaction about it.
