The fall fashion trends of 2010 are now in stores and there are some great things for all you fashionista's to buy! Some of the hottest products in stores this fall consist of tailor tuxedo jackets, gemstone jewelry, silk scarves, leggings and more. This is my favorite time of the year in fashion, so let me share some tips for fall shopping.
Many women choose to shop til they drop during the change of seasons. However, I have a better approach that will work for you! Some of these popular items can be used in several different ways, so why not opt for a few statement pieces. In this guide I'll share with you how a few statement pieces can be worn.
Every brand is making silk scarves for this fall. They look great and can be used in many different ways. My favorite material for scarves is silk, but they're also made with cotton and cashmere. Cashmere will keep you the warmest.
There are many different styles to choose from; funky, fun, elegant and more. The scarf is a great accessory that can be used as part of an outfit while keeping you warm on a fall day. For an edgy or more hip look, you should wear the scarf in a loose way that hangs naturally. Always use a loop for it to sit on your neck. This look is very popular amongst celebrities.
Then there's a more traditional look or business look that the scarf can create. They often look like a tie if they're done right and are great for upscale events. You can wear a simple scarf to a business meeting or to a nice dinner.
Tuxedo jackets are another item that are a must have this fall. Women who have worn a jacket to create the "boyfriend jacket" are happy about this! This is a more looked look that can be worn in a fun way or even a business way as well.
One of the great things about a tuxedo jacket is the look changes depending on what you wear it with. To dress it up, it looks great with a cocktail dress and high heels. For a business look, combine it with slim slacks and high heels. Or for a night out with friends, it can look great with just a t-shirt and skinny jeans.
Fall is here in only a few weeks, so get your wardrobe ready. There are some very affordable options out there and make sure to catch some Labor Day sales!
